In short
Rinca sits at approximately 8°42′S, 119°41′E, inside Komodo National Park in East Nusa Tenggara. There is no public ferry: every visitor arrives on a chartered boat, a shared day trip, or a liveaboard.
- Speedboat from Labuan Bajo takes 30–45 minutes; a traditional wooden day boat 1.5–2 hours.
- All three trekking loops start and finish at the Loh Buaya jetty and ranger post.
- Kampung Rinca, the island’s fishing settlement, sits outside the guided route and is not part of a standard visit.
